Triple A Marbella

Triple A Marbella is a remarkable animal rescue charity known for its unwavering dedication to the care and protection of abandoned and mistreated animals. The organization offers various volunteering roles that cater to different interests and skills.

The Marbella Voluntaria association provides assistance to the many elderly people and people with special needs who have been cared for by this group in Marbella for 20 years.

Marbella Voluntaria has been running various programmes for some time to provide assistance through volunteers to various groups such as the elderly, people with special needs, troubled students, etc. It develops various altruistic aid programmes in the municipality, such as the one to accompany elderly people or people with disabilities. In these cases, they help to carry out the most everyday tasks such as going to the doctor or going for a walk. They also promote a hospital accompaniment programme in which volunteers travel to the Costa del Sol hospital to keep the sick person company and walk with them.

Concern for the youngest is also part of Marbella Voluntaria’s initiatives with its volunteering programme in the Classroom. This project implemented in the Pablo de Saz, Victoria Kent and Sierra Blanca institutes seeks to create an alternative to the expulsion of secondary school students in our municipality. This is a classroom where students are cared for based on the type of sanction that has been applied to them. The volunteer’s task will be to care for them under the guidance of criteria that have been previously indicated to them in a training course on the subject and that they are obliged to carry out before participating in this volunteer program.

In addition to the support they provide in the volunteer programs, the association receives almost continuously at its headquarters people in situations of exclusion, with illnesses or in need of help at all costs.

The association has a total of almost two hundred citizens among its ranks of volunteers. Anyone interested in helping by lending their time to help others can go to its headquarters in the Civic Center of the Divina Pastora next to the market. There they train the volunteers through courses that they carry out periodically. Anyone can join the ranks of this solidarity army.

Cudeca Cancer Care
